Our mounts
Neil Warner Pictures offers a large selection of picture mounts in a wide range of colours and sizes to meet all your art requirements!
We supply a choice of 2 picture/photo mounts boards: cream core and white core.
The Cream core board which is a pale ivory colour is a more budget-friendly solution. Overtime (typically after 5 to 15 years), the core colour on the bevel will discolour due to exposure to the sunlight.
The white core board is a pure white colour and has no discolouration over time and its shelf-life is about 300 years.
The difference between cream core and white core board is the type of board used, which is exposed on the bevel edge of the mount, where the aperture is cut. It does not refer to the colour of the board itself.

Cream core photo mount boards are made from virgin wood pulp, which has a characteristic Pale Ivory colour. Each board is pH neutral and meets the Fine Art Guilds approval for standard mountboard.
